For professional reasons I have chosen to leave C&A. I hope soon to be able to announce a new location for any clients who wish to make bookings in the future. In the mean time, I am able to work from home, or I can offer mobile appointments for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

I'm looking for Gel Extension Nail Models: I am looking to build my skills and add a new treatment for offer! Must be okay with photos of hands/feet for my portfolio, treatment time 2hrs with basic nail art - French tips, Ombre, hearts and stars etc
Treatment includes adding length and using a Hema-Free Hard Gel to sculpt nail enhancements, perfect for anyone who has allergies, has sensitivity to the odours from acrylic sets or finds acrylic too harsh for their nails

I keep getting asked how clients can make their nails stronger..🤷‍♀️

My secret to healthier and stronger nails begins with the correct cuticle care and filing technique:

🪚 Often we have a tendency to file our nails the way we saw through an object, quickly moving a 240grit file back and forth to reduce length, or to fix a broken nail leads to an increase in heat and friction at your free edge. This leads to it becoming weaker and often vertical splits begin to occur regularly.
I advise all my clients to file in one direction, lift the file away from the nail, and you can then file in the other direction should you need to. By lifting away the file after each stroke, you are removing the heat source from the nail, you will also help avoid vertical splits from occurring.

🧴Use a moisturiser every time you wash your hands, use sanitiser or any time they seem dry. Lets be honest, months of damp, cold weather takes it's toll on our hands. Washing and drying hands repeatedly can also lead to dry hands and cuticles. Our hands take a battering daily, so I always make sure to have a hand cream in my bag and to hand when at home. You can also create a hand mask using some white cotton gloves and apply a thick layer of cream at bedtime. This can even be done using white cotton socks to treat very dry or cracked heals.

💅Using a cuticle oil once or twice a day is also essential. Healthy nail growth, in part, requires a healthy cuticle to begin with. Regular use of cream and oil will improve the condition and appearance of the skin, cuticles and nails, it will also give better results after manicures, pedicures or even nail enhancements.
