This time of year calls for a conversation about *mental health*
Recently I've been fighting a MAJOR case of imposter syndrome, the results of my cuts, assessments and assignments should be telling me that I'm good enough to carry on what I'm doing that I am ACTUALLY good at what I do, I LOVE what I do, but there's that little voice that says "But are you? Do they actually like what you're doing? Do you really think you're good enough for this?" It's a constant battle.
Anyone that knows me knows I battle with mental health demons, I live with borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, autism and ADHD. My head is messy, dark, bubbly chaotic and somewhere Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo is playing on loop.
I always want my clients to feel comfortable to talk to me about what's going on in their head I want to be a safe space, I want to share your joy, your achievements, your ups, but equally I want to be there to support you in your doubts, your fears, be there when it's dark and that little voice becomes loud.
This time of year is difficult for so many reasons and I get it so please PLEASE always feel free to talk, to moan, to bitch, to laugh, to cry, be it tears of joy or sadness. We are all human.
I am only ever a message (and a haircut away).
