What is lash shedding season?

Lash shedding happens in autumn and spring. You might notice that during this time you loose more lashes than usual. Your lashes might appear thinner and less full. This is completely normal and there is nothing to worry about. It might last 6-8 weeks. After that time your lashes will grow back as normal.

Here in UK quite often when we refer to Russian lashes we've got in mind that the technique is handmade. On the other had Volume lashes are pre/pro made.
We have to remember that Russian lashes are basically volume as well.
Using Russian technique gives you more freedom in creating different fans during the set or depending on customers lashes. Pre/Pro made fans are much easier as they are already made for you.

Why ph is so important to achieve good retention?
Glue bonds best in alkaline environment. The environment is a bit on acid side on the lash so we have to increase it. We can do this by washing lashes with professional lash shampoo and in some cases adding primer or ph balancer (if the lashes are greasy)
