When you have your trial, sometimes you know exactly what you want, and we nail it first time. Other times, we need to trial a few different styles before you find the look you're after.

This bride wanted a half updo with some sort of braid, but wasn't sure what type of curls she wanted and what would suit her best. The first picture is waved in the same direction with a 1" curling iron, to give softer, more uniform curls, and we styled with a Dutch braid.
The second picture, we did more of a rope braid and created more body around the crown area, and I went over the curls with a straightener, styling them in different directions to give more of a textured curl.

This is why it's important to have a trial.
Both hair styles are similar, but the different type of curl, the amount of backcombing at the crown, and the type of braid make a big difference to how the style will turn out.

Abigail wanted tight curls in a half up style but has fine hair, and the weather was hot on her wedding morning.
She sent me these pictures and said how well her hair lasted all day.
There's always a chance that the curls will drop quicker in hot weather, but with the right products and curling technique, these lasted really well, and didn't she look beautiful 😍

I am getting quite busy for next year already, and have a limited number of weekends available for this year. Week day weddings are not as much of an issue, but if you don't want to be disappointed, then please contact me sooner rather than later. It socks having to turn people away because their date is already booked.

Ive enjoyed getting straight back into wedding trials and taking bookings today, after a lovely couple of weeks off.
January is usually quite busy for enquiries, as people start to think about their plans after Christmas and New Year.
I've had to say no to a few people already this week, as I'm already booked up.
Please don't leave it too late to enquire about your wedding hair, as weekends during peak times in particular, can get booked up to 18 months in advance.
