What does the first 24 hours after SkinPen® actually look like? 👀✨

Redness is a completely normal and expected response following medical microneedling. The degree on redness will also vary depending on skin tone. As you can see, it can settle pretty quickly, with redness typically reducing significantly within 24–48 hours. Everyone’s skin responds differently, so the degree of redness and downtime can vary.
Once the redness settles, you may notice some mild dryness, tightness, peeling or flaking over the following few days — this can also be a normal part of the recovery process. Don’t pick or exfoliate; just let your skin do its thing!
