Yes babe. Because unfortunately I can’t survive purely on the thrill of your Pinterest board and a prosecco in a plastic cup at 7am.

You’re not just paying for “a bun.”

You’re paying for:

•me waking up before the birds

• travelling hours to come to YOU

• carrying half a salon on my back

• answering 47 messages every weekend about whether it’ll hold in “a little drizzle” or “what do you think about this veil”

• the emotional support I provide when someone’s fake tan transfers onto the white dressing gown

• and the ability to make 4 bridesmaids, a mum, and a stressed bride all happy before 11am without anyone crying (too much).

People always say bridal hair is expensive until they realise:

•. the booking is 2 years in advance

•. the diary is full

•. the products aren’t from the Tesco reduced aisle, a can of spray wax is £17, I use a full one per wedding. Never mind the rest.

•. and this actually takes skill, not just “a few curls.”

Of course there are cheaper artists out there. There’s also people who cut their own fringe with kitchen scissors and call it a “butterfly cut.”

Respectfully, your wedding starts falling apart the second the hair stylist is late 😂

Your wedding photos last forever. So yes, I charge accordingly 🤍

Sorry for being quiet on here.

First things first - the heat.

If anyone this week wants to change appts or come in earlier in the day I will be starting early to accomodate this as I don’t want anyone uncomfortable in appts.

Just a little update for my regulars, I have no appts available now until September so if you’re not booked in, I would suggest doing so.

I am being so much stricter on rescheduling/cancelling appts as I just don’t have the time to be chopping and changing so I am sorry about that!

I would say I’m 85% bridal mainly now. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t got time for my colours/cuts you know I will always make time it just means me being a bit stricter on how I ruin my diary so I don’t avoid burnout and I am limiting my days so I can’t be as flexible.

All bridal work I am fully booked until October also.

2027 diary is at about 75% capacity for bridal and I will be capping my summer months which is not something I have done previously but I feel for my sanity, I need too 😂
