A superb weekend for the club, with both teams winning their respective games, whilst keeping clean sheets in the process.

The Firsts travelled to the Waterworks to face a strong St Pats YM side. The Firsts were reduced to 10 men 20 minutes into the game and faced an uphill battle to secure a result. However, with the effort from each and every player they battled to victory thanks to the countless saves from stand-in goal keeper and outfielder, Jamie ‘The Cat’ McTaggart.

The only goal of the game was scored by Reo Crawford, in just his second senior appearance at 18 years of age which capped off a superb performance from the lads.

The Second Team hosted BSML Division 2 side Sixmile Athletic, in the Co. Antrim Junior Shield.

In what was anticipated to be a tough game, after their opponents previous round drumming of Lisburn Distillery 21s, the 4th rised to the occasion with a superb performance on the day.

Goals from Willie Jordan and a brace from Thomas Greer who supposedly darted into the box to score, comfortably secured their passage to the next round.
