A little reintroduction… and the story behind HALO 🤍

As I’m now entering my 9th month of HALO, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share the meaning behind the name.

For those who have followed me from my Urban days, you’ll know that after more than 20 years of running my salon, I made the huge decision to change the way I worked and create something that fitted better around my life and my family.

And that’s where HALO came from…

HALO isn’t just a business name. It represents my family — my reason and inspiration for making such a big change.

I still wanted to do the job I love, look after the clients who have supported me for so many years and continue offering the treatments I’m passionate about, but I also wanted something I hadn’t had for a very long time — a better work-life balance and the head space to be more present with my family.

HALO has allowed me to slow things down, work differently and create a business that works around my life rather than my life always having to work around my business.

And now, as I enter my 9th month, I can genuinely say it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. 🤍

I still get to do what I love, but I have found the balance I was searching for and, most importantly, I have more time and head space for the people who were the reason behind HALO in the first place.
