We’ve had a lot of new followers recently and it’s been forever since I introduced myself on here!

My name is Lucy & I am the owner of Cloud Beauty Studio ☁️

Believe it or not, my journey into the beauty industry actually started with a degree in Biomedical Science. I graduated during lockdown, and while we couldn’t go anywhere, I discovered a passion for makeup that completely changed the direction of my career.

As soon as restrictions lifted, I started taking makeup bookings—and I fell in love with making people feel confident and beautiful. I knew I wanted this to become more than just a hobby, so I continued investing in myself and trained in lashes, brows and facials. A few years later, I added nails too, because I’ve always had a creative side and love anything artistic! 💅✨

After working in several salons and gaining invaluable experience, I took the biggest leap of my career and opened my own salon in October 2024… and honestly, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. 🤍

Nearly 5 years into the beauty industry, I still wake up excited to do what I love every day.

But there was always one goal I’d never let go of…

I always knew I wanted to combine my love of science with my passion for beauty. That’s what inspired me to train in aesthetics this year, and I can genuinely say I’ve found exactly where I’m meant to be. Being able to use my Biomedical Science background alongside advanced aesthetic treatments has been incredibly rewarding, and I absolutely love helping my clients feel like the best version of themselves.

I’m so excited for what’s to come, and I can’t wait to welcome even more of you into the clinic. Whether you’ve supported me from my very first makeup appointment or you’re only just discovering my page—thank you. Your support truly means the world. 🫶🏽☁️

QUALIFIED IN AESTHETICS 🥹😭🖤

I’ve been away in Manchester for the week with and I am now qualified in dermal filler, anti-wrinkle, skin boosters & vitamin injections!

If you know me you know my love & passion is has always been with science so to be able to combine both my degree & my love for beauty into one is the most special for me! I have wanted to do this for years but it never felt like the right time until now! Pushing myself out my comfort zone and going to Manchester on my own was the biggest challenge but we done it and bloody smashed it! Just a few things to sort out behind the scenes and then I will be looking for models for these treatments!

I would like to say a huge thankyou to for the unbelievable training, support, and guidance throughout! All the trainers were incredible and the knowledge you all have is outstanding and I am leaving with the knowledge, skillset & confidence to safely deliver treatments to the highest standard! I can’t wait to return in the future!

Also a huge thankyou to every single one of my clients who have supported my crazy little life this far and also the ones who knew I was doing this and cheered me on even more, I truly love you all from the bottom of my heart and none of this would be possible without you lot!

MEET THE CLOUD TEAM ☁️🤍

Lucy- Lucy offers lashes, brows, nails & facials and is also an educator and is OBSESSED with knowing the science behind every treatment she offers! Also thrives off absolute chaos and is always looking to make her life even busier!

Zoe- Zoe has been in the industry for years employed but took the leap to go self employed last August and hasn’t looked back since! Zoe offers lashes, brows, nails & facials and is looking forward to adding more treatments very soon!

Holly- Holly has been in the industry since leaving school and first joined cloud in November 2024 🥹 Holly offers lashes, brows and dermaplaning facials and is also looking to extended her treatment list this year!

Daryl- Daryl qualified in nails a few years back and after some time off decided she wanted to start doing them again! Daryl works a Sunday and a Monday as she also likes to make her self super busy and has a full time job alongside!

Halle- Halle is our salon junior who is currently at Newcastle college studying her level 2 beauty! Halle has been working with Lucy to learn and develop skills in new treatments which is super exciting and we can’t wait to see where her career takes her as a complete perfectionist!
