It finally came! I didn't think I had actually won anything cos only the winner got to go up to the podium but it was still wonderful to get the BRONZE AWARD FOR LYMPHOEDEMA NURSE OF THE YEAR 2026!

Didn't win the award for Lymphoedema Nurse of the Year 2026 but I'm really not bothered. Seeing Sandy Chevery in a black tie & being re-united with the amazing Mark Pearson 10 years after working with him at St George's was sooooo memorable & was reward enough for 40 years in nursing, the last 16 of which have been in lymphoedema.

I have been shortlisted for Lymphoedema Nurse of the Year 😃

Was recently chatting to a client during a treatment session about how fashions tend to go around in circles over the decades but this does not, seemingly, apply to one's eyebrow shape 😂😅😂.

These seem to have become more prominent over the decades whilst all other bits of one's bodily fluff now get lasered or waxed off altogether! 😟😵

Later on I rediscovered this old picture of me taken in 1991!!! Now there's a blast from the past. You can't not wear tights now (regardless of temperature increases in work spaces due to global warming)due to 'p***c fallout'! 🫣🤔🤨

I am discounting my winter rates to £60 per treatment until the end of April 😉

Fi: The Lymph-Fi-Lady, as a business, will be 2 years old in May 👏👏. Having remained at the same rate throughout that time, my hourly rate will have to rise to £75 per session at the start of May.

It's always lovely to be able to make people feel better & we could all do with a bit of rejuvenation during the darker, colder, wetter months when our vitamin D levels are low! 👏
