This is so true. I see so many dogs with nails that are too long & causing mechanical issues. I know it can be hard but we really do need to stay on top of them to ensure their comfort

🔥 Don’t be THAT person….🔥

In the UK we’re having yet another heat wave & still, every day, I see owners out walking their dogs in 30° heat!

It will not kill your dog to miss out on a daily walk, but it might just kill them if you do.

Please make sure if you really need to walk your dogs, get up early. It’s so much cooler at 6am & you might just save your dogs life.

Don’t take my word for it, put your winter coat, hat & gloves on & go out about 1pm & see how you feel. Oh & while you’re at it, don’t forget to take your shoes off too.

Joking aside, overheating is a serious issue, your dogs will be silently struggling even in the coolness of your home right mind - Please be mindful of them, thank you 🙏

‼️Extreme Weather Warning‼️

Due to the expected high temperatures for the rest of this week, I have made the decision to cancel & rearrange all my appointments both canine & equine.

Effective treatment cannot be carried out in such extreme conditions. It’s not safe for me & adds unnecessary stress on your animals. I do hope you understand my reasoning & I will be contacting everyone effected later today.

Thank you for you understanding & let’s keep those fur babies as hydrated & cool as possible 🐶🐴
