We are seeing some patients in the community who are at risk or who are deteriorating. If that’s you, please get in touch and we can organise a home session for you.

In the meantime, we are looking forward to seeing you all when we re-open 😊🥳

Another week of ringing round patients to check in how everyone is doing. Some better than others. If you’re not doing so well, you’re not alone, others are finding it tough too. We all have good and bad days. Be easy on yourself. Remember to drink plenty of water, sit outside for a few minutes if you can, phone a friend and eat something nourishing. What we put in, we get out 🥰 if you’re struggling please do give us a ring and we can offer advice over the phone/video. Here’s a pretty flower to brighten up your day 🌷

Welcome to our page if you’re new here and wondering about future treatment. We are still open to take calls and do telephone consultations. Give us a call and we can go through the process with you and offer some advice.

High and low exercise intensity found to influence brain function differently

A new study shows for the first time that low and high exercise intensities differentially influence brain function. Using resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (Rs-fMRI), a noninvasive technique that allows for studies on brain connectivity, researchers discovered that low-intensity exercise triggers brain networks involved in cognition control and attention processing, while high-intensity exercise primarily activates networks involved in affective/emotion processing. The results appear in a special issue of Brain Plasticity devoted to Exercise and Cognition.
