Over the last 2 years, I have refocused my attentions on retraining through Botanica and completed the Diploma in Skincare Formulation on 22nd February 2026.

I met with a variety of challenges along the way, in particular, my health, going from someone very active to not being able to walk a few hundred yards. It took years of tests and trials to diagnose that I had a pr*****ed disk, and there were 3 areas along my spine pressing on my nerves. The pain was excruciating, and I often cried myself to sleep. On 2nd March 2026, I had spinal surgery and am recovering steadily.

There were a few things in my life that I continued to do, such as my Skincare course, which brought me much joy when I passed each module. Running the Bicester Gospel Choir's monthly rehearsals, leading and supporting our local worship team at Emmanuel Church, Bicester and expanding the charity work of the Oxford Community Soup Kitchen- The Icolyn Smith Foundation to Bicester, this happens monthly on a Saturday and is called 'Bicester Spoon'. OCSK continues every week in Oxford.

The last 6 years have been overshadowed by loss in our family, mum, mum-in-law, dad, aunts and so many other family members, but over the last few weeks, the shock of losing my brother has been overwhelming. But I thank God and take each day as a blessing that God has allowed me to see.

I took a step back from Hairdressing in November 2025 after 43 years. The chemicals were not great for my health, but I look forward to whatever God has for me in the future.

I will continue to write poetry, songs, study both God's words and continue formulating natural skincare.

In closing, I want to honour the 2 men in my life who have been , my husband, Gary, and , our son Darius, who have been my rock. Thank you, and I love you both dearly. 🥰❤️

Welcome to chapter 59. Happy birthday to me. Who thought I could have made it to this point in my life. It's only by God's grace. I am so thankful for all the hills and valleys I've been through, but looking forward to the blessings God has ahead for me.

To the best dad in the world Robert Brown Campbell. 3 years ago we laid you to rest. There hasn't been a day that I don't think about you and mum, the best parents ever.

You did your very best to teach us manners and respect because you knew it would take us a long way, but the best thing you showed and shared with us was the God in you.

Rest in eternal peace dad. I'm so proud to have had a dad like you. ❤️😢🙏🏾

I pulled it out of my garden and ot looked like someone possing. It's so funny. But I can never tell what will come out of my garden each year. But I thank God for all he provides. ♥️♥️
