I’m often asked 📣
what Collagen I use and why?….
So here it is guys🤗🤔

Why I use Collagen Boozt versus a standard bovine collagen powder…..

👉the main difference isn’t necessarily the collagen itself—it’s the additional nutrients that support collagen production, bone metabolism, and connective tissue repair.

Standard Bovine Collagen

Most bovine collagen supplements provide primarily:

* Type I collagen (skin, bone, tendons)
* Type III collagen (skin, blood vessels)
* Amino acids such as glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline

Benefits:
* Supports skin elasticity
* Provides building blocks for connective tissue
* May help joint comfort over time

Limitations:
* Provides the raw materials, but not necessarily all the cofactors needed to build and maintain collagen efficiently.
* Many products contain little else beyond collagen peptides.

Collagen Boozt
💪In addition to collagen peptides, it contains nutrients involved in collagen synthesis and tissue maintenance, including:

* Vitamin C (essential for collagen formation)
* Hyaluronic acid
* Biotin
* Polyphenol-rich ingredients
* Other supportive micronutrients depending on formulation

For joints and bones, 🏃‍♀️this can be advantageous because:

1. Vitamin C is critical
Without adequate vitamin C, collagen fibres cannot be properly cross-linked and strengthened.

Research shows vitamin C is required for the enzymes that stabilise collagen structure.

2. Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a major component of:

* Joint fluid
* Cartilage
* Connective tissues

It helps retain water and supports lubrication within joints.

3. Better Support for the Whole Collagen Pathway
🤔 Think of collagen peptides as the bricks.

The body also needs:
* Builders (enzymes)
* Cement (vitamin C)
* Water supply (hyaluronic acid)
* Antioxidant protection

Collagen Boozt attempts to support the entire process rather than simply supplying the bricks.

4. Bone Health 🦴
Bone is approximately:
* 30–40% collagen matrix
* 60–70% minerals

Healthy collagen scaffolding allows minerals such as calcium and magnesium to be laid down effectively. Supporting collagen production may therefore indirectly support bone strength and resilience.

What Does the Research 📚📖Suggest?

👉Studies generally find the greatest benefits when collagen peptides are combined with:
* Vitamin C
* Resistance exercise
* Adequate protein intake
* Omega-3 fatty acids
* Good vitamin D status

And for even greater support like myself who already uses Balance Oil and focuses on testing and reducing inflammation, the combination of:

* Omega-3 balance
* Adequate protein
* Vitamin C
* Collagen peptides
* Strength training

is likely to have a greater impact on joints and bones than collagen alone. 🤩🤩

One Important Caveat

If a standard bovine collagen product contains the same dose of collagen peptides and you consume plenty of vitamin C, protein, and supportive nutrients elsewhere in your diet, the difference may not be dramatic.

The advantage of Collagen Boozt is largely that it combines several collagen-supporting nutrients into one product, making it easier to consistently support the pathways involved in connective tissue, cartilage, skin, tendons, and bone health.

For osteoarthritis, tendon health, and bone support, I’d also pay attention to:

* Protein intake (aiming for adequate intake throughout the day)
* Vitamin D status
* Magnesium
* Omega-3 index
* Regular resistance training

These often have as much influence on long-term joint and bone health as collagen supplementation itself.
