Many of us have suffered from fear, anxiety, depression and even loss during the last year. For this reason, I am offering a seven-week course online in breathing techniques, meditation/mindfulness, and relaxation to give you the tools to take charge of your life.
During this course, you will learn techniques to help you restore positive mental health, give you clarity of mind and the tools to relax, heal and energise yourself.
βThe first session will start at 9.15am on Monday, June 7, and classes will run every week until July 19.
Contact Sibylla on 07984 146153 for a private consultation regarding your individual needs before signing up.
The seven-week course will cost a total of Β£70 which includes a bonus relaxation techniques CD to be used daily. All classes will be delivered via Zoom.

2020 has been the most unsettling and challenging year I have ever experienced and I know it has been the same for you. Still, it is my fervent wish that it has left you more or less unscathed and that any feelings of anxiety and/or depression prove to be short-lived.
As we come out of this latest lockdown, the promise and
vision of a super vaccine gives me renewed energy and I am looking forward to start anew in 2021.
Classes will start in early January (I will notify you of the exact date nearer the time).
There are a couple of changes. Presently, the earlier classes on Monday and Tuesday begin at 5.45 pm - 7.15pm, so as to minimise contact with the members of the second class, who arrive at 7.30pm till 9pm. I will also have a pregnancy class on Monday mornings at 9.30am.
As for cost, the price has gone up a little to Β£15 per 90minute session or Β£80 for 6 lessons.
There are no more than 5 people per class, so do apply early. Text me on 07984 146153.
I leave you with this photograph from my granddaughter and the message says it all!
Namaste,

Wishing you all a very happy Easter despite the challenging times we find ourselves in.
Although you have heard it all before, I canβt reiterate enough that your health and the health of your family, friends and fellow men should be uppermost in your mind.
To stay safe, follow the guidance on social distancing and isolation. To maintain your physical and mental health, eat a balanced diet, take regular daily exercise, sleep well and do something positive and productive every day.
Donβt be too hard on yourself when things donβt work out. Be flexible, but never give up.
From the yogic perspective, breathing exercises, the practice of meditation, mindfulness and relaxation are the key to our spiritual well being.
I made a poetic summary of Jack Cornfieldβs view on meditation and mindfulness. Jack Cornfield, a Buddhist monk and author of Path with Heart makes the point that in order to undertake our spiritual life we must make certain that our path is connected to our Heart. Here it is. ..
Stop the war.
We are constantly at war
with ourselves with the world
Ignorance the driving force.
In denial unable to face the truth
we insulate ourselves from the natural world. We even deny death.
In denial we turn away from difficulties and pain.
Addictions help us remain
in this state.
Zombified we exist in a society.
Isolated, lonely, disconnected
from the natural web of life.
Separation and denial breed
personal and international misunderstanding.
Endless series of conflicts ensue.
We must stop the war.
Begin with ourselves. Through meditation and practice learn how to let go of our battles.
When we open our hearts to see
with eyes unclouded by longing,
we come to rest in the present.
This is the beginning and end of spiritual practice.
In the moment we discover timelessness.
Only in the moment can we
discover love.
Connected to our body, our feelings, our life, we awaken and discover the greatness of our heart.
Once you feel the fear, the discontent, the difficulties, your heart softens through this act of courage and compassion.
Compassion is the quivering of the pure heart after you allow yourself to be touched by the pain of life.
To recognise that just as there is pain in our life, so there is pain in everyone's life is the birth of wise understanding.
Wise understanding sees that suffering is inevitable, that all things that are born die. It accepts life as a whole.
We find peace in a heart that rejects nothing, that touches all things with compassion. We can stop the war and come into the timeless present.
We open up to all around us, live in harmony with the universal law, the truth of life.
The purpose of choosing a path with heart is to discover peace and connectedness within us and stop the war in and around us.
Let loving kindness guide us at all times.
Namaste!
Sibylla
