Hi all,

I am working tomorrow all day until late all appointments will still go ahead, my room is relatively cool and the fans are on.

Fortunately my glue doesn’t get the same issues as normal lash glues do so I will still be in and working as usual

I will be providing bottled water and snacks if needed. Anyone feeling the need can take the liquid IV sachets with electrolytes in to put in their water bottles. Help yourselves to the refreshment areas while in my room

Wearing your most comfortable outfits even if it’s pjs and flip flops is totally fine with me

aesthetics appointments will still go ahead, cool packs are provided and advice on after care for post aesthetics in heat will be reiterated before you leave.

If you can’t make it let me know asap so I can try to minimise gaps in the schedule

📦 CLIENT NOTICE REGARDING DELIVERY DELAYS 📦

I just wanted to make my lovely clients aware of an issue that is unfortunately affecting not only myself, but a number of businesses in the Pontefract area.

Recently, DPD deliveries have been experiencing significant delays, with parcels often not arriving on their expected delivery dates and very little communication or warning being provided.

At present, I have enough stock to cover all appointments over the next few days and, if necessary, I will source products elsewhere to ensure treatments can continue. However, I am trying to avoid purchasing duplicate stock and paying premium next-day delivery charges where possible, as this can become extremely costly when ordering prescription products and medical-grade items such as anti-wrinkle treatments, fillers, skin boosters and other aesthetic supplies.

Last week, I experienced a particularly frustrating situation involving a time-sensitive delivery. The parcel was delayed, sat in a van for an extended period, and was then returned to the supplier without my knowledge. After being told by 5 DPD customer service agents it would be with me on 3 separate delivery days, (id bought guaranteed 24 hour deliver!) A replacement was sent, only for that parcel to also become delayed. This ultimately resulted in a client having to be rescheduled three times, which was incredibly disappointing for both of us.

To add to the ongoing issue, I have received notification this morning that another parcel is currently delayed at the same Birmingham depot. Thankfully, I already have stock of this particular item, so there is no immediate impact. However, I am still awaiting tracking information for several other deliveries that should have arrived today and are required for next week’s appointments.

Please rest assured that I have already lodged an official complaint with DPD and will be speaking directly with my suppliers about using alternative courier services wherever possible moving forward.

If I do have to contact anyone regarding a last-minute appointment change, please accept my sincere apologies in advance. I appreciate that your time is valuable, and I can assure you that I am doing everything possible to minimise any disruption.
