Hi, I'm Rhona and I'm based in Cottam, Preston. I'm super excited to announce that I've started a little pet sitting business, covering Preston and surrounding areas. I have experience with a wide range of animals and have a lot of my own. At the moment, I have cats, a dog, a horse, quails, rabbits, fish and a leopard gecko. Hi all, I've told a few people face to face, but I've made the decision to put up my prices by £2 per dog starting 1st April 2026.
I wish I didn't have to, but as everybody knows, EVERYTHING is going up at the moment.
I take pride in being one of the most reasonably priced dog groomers in the area and haven't taken this decision lightly.

Only a couple of hours after my last post it's happened again. I felt awful sending this text, was I too harsh?
I've been to this person 4 times and 2 of them times I left without doing the job.
I even changed appointments around to suit them 😮💨
Not a post I wanted to post. But unfortunately I'll be changing my policy for customers that let me turn up only to find they aren't home.
This week alone has cost me £175 in people not being home for appointments they've booked.
I've always prided myself on being fair. The people that have been with me for years can all vouch for this. Sometimes waiting until pay day to be paid for a job, having to rearrange appointments the day before, going out of my way to help people out, sacrificing time with my family to fit people in who work different hours, stuff like that.
But it seems trusting people is only costing me money.
So going forward, if you're not home when I arrive I expect full payment for that time slot. And if you want me to come back when you're home I expect full payment in advance for the job and each booking going forward. If you're unwilling to meet these expectations then I'll simply remove you from my customer list.
I love my job. But just because I love what I do it doesn't mean that my family and I should lose money.

Waffle saw off at least 5 groomers before me. His owners were pretty worried he'd add another one to the list......
Amazing what TLC, an understanding of canine psychology and 15 years experience can do 😊

Only 6 spaces left for February now. March also filling up fast with rebookings.
Unfortunately the window for taking on new clients is getting smaller by the week, so don't miss out! Likely be closing the window around mid-March.
To all my existing clients, thankyou so much. I knew it wouldn't be long before I was full again, but I didn't think it would be this fast!
