NUTRITIONAL BEAUTY, Rawtenstall

For Rachel, founder of Nutritional Beauty, wellbeing has always been about more than skincare alone. What began as a personal journey of self-care whilst balancing life as a full-time carer for both her husband and son has, over the past eight years, evolved into a respected Lancashire business centred around handmade beauty, holistic wellbeing and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Based in Rawtenstall, Nutritional Beauty has become known for its handcrafted skincare, botanical beauty products and artisan home fragrances, all carefully made by Rachel herself. Each collection is designed to bring moments of calm, comfort and everyday luxury, with natural ingredients and wellbeing at the heart of the brand.

Alongside holistic skincare and beauty products, Rachel also creates unique home fragrances and dried flower arrangements, all produced with a strong no-waste ethos. Seasonal collections have become especially popular, with her handmade natural firelighters emerging as a festive favourite amongst customers across Lancashire and further afield.

Her work has earned a loyal following through artisan markets and independent retailers across the region. Rachel regularly appears at Holden Clough Nurseries, Campfield Market Manchester, Ramsbottom Makers Market, The Last Drop Village Makers Market and Gordon Riggs in Todmorden. Nutritional Beauty products are also stocked locally at The Whitaker Museum Shop in Rawtenstall, The Circle in Bacup and The Potato Man in Helmshore.

In 2025, one of Rachel’s handcrafted wreaths appeared on the front cover of Lancashire Life’s November issue, later receiving the title of Cover of the Year, a recognition that reflects both her creative eye and dedication to traditional handmade craftsmanship.

Rachel is also believed to be the only business in Lancashire producing natural air fresheners made using soy wax and botanicals, further setting Nutritional Beauty apart within the region’s growing artisan wellbeing sector.

Combining sustainability, creativity and authenticity, Nutritional Beauty continues to champion the value of handmade products created with genuine care and purpose. #holisticwellness 14/05/2026

English Pear & Freesia - crisp sweetness of ripe pears mingling with the delicate freshness of freesia blooms. Light and uplifting, evokes the sensation of a bright morning in a blooming orchard, where the air is filled with gentle fruitiness and soft floral notes, with a subtle warmth beneath the freshness, creating a scent that feels effortlessly cheerful, elegant, and wonderfully inviting.
