Non-surgical treatments to enhance your appearance by an NMC registered, experienced Nurse Prescriber

17/06/2026

Trust the process.

A few treatments, a lot of consistency at home, and patience when it felt like nothing was changing.

The transformation happened between appointments too.

One thing I loved about this journey was the trust. I always strive to keep results natural and in harmony with a patient’s features. Shona naturally prefers a fuller lip, and by working together we achieved a result that reflected her goals while remaining balanced, safe, and suited to her.

There you are. 🥹🤍

I didn’t get into aesthetics to become an influencer.

So if I’m a little quiet online, I’m probably in clinic…
treating patients, studying, replying to admin, or writing treatment plans 🫠

This industry can look very loud online.

But good practice is usually happening quietly behind the scenes.

And I hope that’s what you’ll remember me for.

Why is everyone talking about Sculptra?

More and more of my new patients are booking after noticing how healthy, refreshed and natural their friends’ skin looks.

The shift is moving away from obvious treatment and towards collagen support, skin quality and subtle rejuvenation rather than just adding volume.

Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which stimulates collagen production to gradually improve skin quality, facial support and age-related volume loss over time.

Unlike traditional filler, results develop slowly and subtly as collagen rebuilds within the skin.

Commonly used for:
• Facial volume loss
• Reduced skin firmness
• Mid-face support
• Overall facial rejuvenation

Tired eyes aren’t always about lack of sleep.

The skin beneath the eyes is up to 40% thinner, contains fewer oil glands and has less collagen support, which is why hollowing, dehydration and fine lines tend to appear here first.

Polynucleotides work like a cellular repair signal for the skin, stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin whilst improving hydration and tissue repair over time.

After 2 sessions, there is visible improvement in under eye hollowing, crepey texture and overall skin quality, whilst maintaining completely natural results.

Most importantly, the patient was extremely happy with how refreshed and rested they looked, without looking altered.

Regenerative, science led rejuvenation.

Before & After: 2 sessions of Sculptra

One of the biggest changes here is the improvement in the temple hollowing and overall facial support. As we age, we lose collagen and volume in the temples, cheeks, and along the outer face, which can create a more tired or gaunt appearance.

Sculptra works differently than filler. Rather than adding volume instantly, it stimulates your own collagen production to gradually rebuild structure and support over time.

In these results, you can appreciate:
• Softer temple hollowing
• Better support through the upper and mid face
• Improvement in cheek contour and facial balance
• Smoother transitions between the under eye and cheek
• Subtle skin tightening and improved skin quality

The goal is always natural, regenerative results, keeping you looking like you- never looking filled, puffy, or overdone.

Did you know the UK aesthetics industry is still largely unregulated?

After International Nurses Day yesterday, I wanted to share why being an NMC-registered nurse is so important and what that means for you when you when booking a treatment.

My nursing background shapes every treatment I provide, with patient safety, ethics, and honest patient care always at the centre.

“Do whatever, I trust you”

Honestly, that feeling you get when you hear that never gets old 🥲 There’s something really special about being trusted with someone’s face and the way they feel about themselves. I’ll never take that lightly.

Ever wondered what’s really happening after the filler is injected? 👀

Your lips go through a whole process after treatment. Water binding, tissue integration, your body naturally settling. It’s all happening beneath the surface long after you leave the clinic.

Understanding this is what stops you panicking on day 3 and trusting the process through to day 14.

I hope you’ve learnt something new and that this makes your next treatment a little more manageable.

Save this for after your next appointment!

Before & After | Lip Enhancement

Due to work commitments, we weren’t able to dissolve previous lip filler just yet, but she still wanted a little enhancement.

We chose a soft, subtle filler approach to gently enhance what was already there rather than add heavy volume. My go to filler for this is RHA Kiss.

There is some swelling right after treatment, which is completely normal, but you can already see the changes:
• Improved lip balance and symmetry
• Smoother, more even lip shape
• Added hydration through the lips
• A softly defined Cupid’s bow without looking overdone

The focus here was keeping everything natural and in proportion, and once the swelling settles, the result will look even better.

If you’d like discuss a subtle lip enhancement you can book a consultation using the link in my bio.
