These beauties are Tamanu fruits, which grow on the Calophyllum inophyllum tree in South East Asia and the Pacific Islands. When ripe they turn brown and wrinkly and when split open they reveal one seed, which contains our Tamanu Seed Oil.

Also known as Beauty Leaf Oil, Tamanu Oil has remarkable healing qualities, and has been used for generations in the countries where it grows to treat skin damage. As well as hydrating and regenerating the skin to help prevent wrinkles, it also helps soothe eczema, psoriasis and other skin inflammations. It also makes a great sunburn treatment.

As well as tasting great in Thai curry, Lemongrass makes one of our favourite essential oils.

It has a strong lemony scent with earthy undertones, and has a calming and soothing effect making it a great stress reliever. It can also help relieve headaches - mix a drop into a small amount of a carrier oil like Jojoba and massage into the temples.
