Redditch Canine Hydrotherapy

🐾 Meet Oscar! 💙

Oscar is a lovely cocker spaniel who’s enjoyed a very active life. Now living with osteoarthritis, he comes to us for weekly swims alongside his prescribed pain relief to help keep him comfortable and moving.

Chasing his ball is still his favourite thing! Although he’s no longer allowed to chase it on land, the pool gives Oscar the chance to enjoy the game he loves with the water supporting his joints. 🎾💦

Afterwards, he loves a warm shower—very un-spaniel-like!—and a dry with the blaster, followed by a well-earned treat. 🥰

We love seeing you each week, Oscar!

Meet the lovely Freddie! 🐾💛

Freddie has been coming to us for five months, and it’s been wonderful to see her fitness and stamina improve. Her swims help support her forelimb osteoarthritis, and her vets have also noticed an improvement in the range of movement in her front legs.

Freddie has quite a few allergies, so she needs a special diet and allergy injections. She also has Librela to help manage her osteoarthritis. Through it all, she arrives with the happiest face and a wagging tail, ready to work and absolutely loving her swims! 💦

We’re so proud of you, Freddie. You’re a joy to see every time! 🐶

We couldn’t agree more 💙

Senior years shouldn’t mean slowing down. 🐾💚

From stiff mornings to shorter walks and more snoozes, our Joint Care for Senior Dogs is made to support healthy joints, mobility and movement — so they can keep doing the things they love for longer. 🦴✨

Because getting older doesn’t mean they have to stop being them. #🐶

PUPPY ALERT 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

This is the cute Bernese puppy Odin 😍

Odin was very brave today in for his first Puppy swim! 🏊🏻‍♂️🐶

He's going to be a very big strong boy when he eventually grows into those paws!!

Well done Odin, can't wait to see your handsome little face again soon!

Is there a better place to work during this heatwave ☀️🏊🏻‍♂️ I don't think so 😁

Our wonderful Tracey is taking on the 3 peaks challenge this weekend in the blistering heat to help raise money for our rescue animals.

Good luck Tracey! We know you will absolutely smash it! 🏔️🏔️🏔️

🏔️ Tracey's Three Peak Challenge 🏔️

On Saturday 11th July – Sunday 12th July, I will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge.

The challenge consists of ascending and descending the three highest mountains in the UK:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Ben Nevis – Scotland
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Scafell Pike – England
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) – Wales

AND

Driving between all three peaks in 24 hours or less.

This challenge is usually completed as part of an organised group, with a team or alongside friends.

BUT...

I'm going to attempt it on my own, with my husband acting as my chauffeur, support crew and chief encourager!

At 61 years old, I'm taking on this mad challenge to raise much-needed funds for the incredible rescue dogs and cats that Jess works so tirelessly to save.

I'll be covering all of the costs of my challenge myself, so every single donation will go directly to helping the rescue animals.

If you're able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, it would mean the world to us, and even more to the animals whose lives your kindness will help change.

Please donate here:

Thank you so much for your support—wish me luck! ❤️🐾

The best part about my job is that I get to work with wonderful dogs. The worst part is that unfortunately a lot of them are in the latter stages of their lives. Each one is unique and has their own ways of doing things, idiosyncrasies that make them who they are.

Reflecting back on the last year and a half of business I feel we've made a real positive impact on the lives of a lot of dogs. Life is definitely a better place with them in our world and it's the most horrible thing in the world when they are no longer with us.

I'm sure if there is an after life. You will all be doing lots of swimming, eating treats and causing mischief.

I really do miss you all 💔

Happy Birthday to our wonderful Luke!

We are so proud of you and can’t believe how well you have done with this wonderful business!

We promise to spoil you like you deserve today 💙
