It's not just to protect our income and valuable time, it's also to ensure our safety. Hairdressers are a lot more valuable then perhaps you imagine but the reality is, going out alone or having someone know where you live isn't always safe. Walking around with scissors doesn't make you safe, it means the second we put them down or turn on a hot appliance, we are trusting our clients not to take advantage of that trust.

I have been stalked pretty horrifically in the past because my business details are online as an independent trader, today this just seems to be someone who's less focused on one particular person but I wanted to share with you all the considerations your hairdressers have to take and other reasons they may be demanding deposits and why they shouldn't be negotiated. A simple thing like a deposit with a reference gives us proof you are who you say you are as well as secures your time with us :)

The amazing FAB Clinic!

I love it when a client sends me updates on how they are enjoying their new hair! 🥰

Client came in with many previous colours and a one colour build up.... We talk, "can I cut it all off?".... " Ahhh I love it long" ... Well after a few test strands and nagging she let me :) 8 (million) hours later....and one more sit in to get the inspo result but let's appreciate how pretty!

Out of action today for poorly kitty duties I'm afraid! As much as I love being part of your transformations, unfortunately my darling cat Harry is not very well and will always be a priority to me.

Harry will have the vets tomorrow morning and be under for a scan to check what's upsetting his stomach so much. Harry is a super senior and most of you would have met him as he's not shy to make friends so please bear with me while I sort him out and keep everything crossed for him tomorrow that they don't find the worst things they are looking for tomorrow but do find a solution for him!
