When my beautiful friend came to me with a problem, after a box dye catastrophe 🤦🏼‍♀️my advice to her was persistence and time to get her feeling better about her hair.

This was started in December! A box dye that was supposed to go grey turned out orange 😬she didn’t want to loose any length so we are gradually trying to get her hair healthy and longer but with out the massive chop!

She trusted the process, we still have a little way to go but her hair is already looking healthier and she is feeling so much more confident! 🥰

Befor and After..
Before was grown out highlights. Pregnancy changed the porosity of her hair and she found it hard to maintain the tone and in general to keep on top of as her hair started to grow at a fast rate.
I place some baby lights across the parting to break up the root area and with the help of I toned down as much of the warmth. A root smudge was done for less maintenance as her hair grows out.
We ended up with a beautiful balayage affect with a gorgeous creamy tone ✨

From the dreaded box dye black to blonde✨
This was a year long process to get her hair healthy and get her feeling confident 👱🏼‍♀️
For about 8 years my beautiful sister couldn’t fight the urge of box dying her hair despite my best efforts to convince her not to 😩
One day she decided she wanted blonde ✨
In order to achieve this she had to be these colours first 🖤❤️🧡💛🤍
