So with room to offer in our salon we've decided to just put a feeler out there for any interest in any self employed stylists or nail technicians looking to rent out space in a runcorn based salon. Please inbox us if there's any interest. Our salon has a well established clientele in hair. Nail technicians would need own clientele with the possibility of gaining some more new clients. Hair stylist would need own clientele.

So it seems In the guidance out that all clients that have booked for a colouring service direct on the scalp will require a skin test previous to the colouring service due to a possible reaction after having covid, the vaccine or a long period without colouring your hair. We will look into this further but this will require all clients before there appointment to pop to the salon for a quick patch test 24 to 48 hours prior to there appointment. The people who are booked in the first few days we will be in touch as obviously the shop wont be open till mon 12th so we may be able to offer a time slot on sunday 11th in the shop for you to pop down for the test or please feel free to contact us on here for advice. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but the service may not be able to go ahead with out a patch test

Just a little update on appointments for the possible reopening in April.We have been in touch with a lot of our clients(ones we have numbers for)but if we haven’t contacted you could you please send us a message and we will get in touch as soon as possible.

The team at Salon One have had a meeting to decide the best way forward with regards to booking appointments from the 12th April which is the provisional date set by the government for us to be able to reopen.

What we have decided to do is to slowly start booking people in, however, all bookings will be subject to change as up to now we have received no guidance from the government as to the numbers of people that are allowed in the shop at once, once we reopen.

Your patience whilst we call all of our clients is appreciated as we are also trying to homeschool at the same time. Therefore we would appreciate it if you could wait for us to contact you rather than calling our private mobile numbers.

We are excited and looking forward to seeing all of our loyal clients back in the shop as soon as possible. We just wanted to put this message out to put your minds at rest about your appointment and to let you know that we will be in touch soon.

So here we go again..... lockdown number 3 🙈 As I’m sure you all saw last night’s announcement and understand why we can’t open. We won’t be rearranging appointments until we have a date on when we can reopen and hope you all understand how hard this is for us as a small business with families to support . We want to thank all our clients for their support over the last 10/11 months you are truly amazing and hope to see you all soon,

So looks like were off again after all the covid measures weve put in place as a non essential shop weve got to close. So a massive thank you to all our clients that have continued to support us since reopening who have continually rebooked right through to Christmas even though they have had no events to go to the support to keep us going by just having there hair done has been absolutely fab. Appointments booked through December will stand as they are anyone that misses an appointment through the 4week lockdown we will try our hardest to rebook you in December and anybody this week we will try to contact you to see what we can do. So the salon is ready and is as safe as we can make it to protect clients and ourselves. All PPE is bought for us and clients but we do ask you to please provide your own mask if you havnt got one or forget it dont worry we will provide you with one. A quick temperature check will be done on arrival so please if you are feeling symptoms even slight cancel your appointment and we will be happy to rearrange. Were sticking to one stylist In the shop most times but are open 7days a week at least until the end of july to cover the amount of bookings. Were pretty much booked until the end of July we think we have contacted most of our regular clientelle but please still ring as cancellations may happen if were busy and cant get to the phone leave details on the answer machine and we will contact you for a slot. It's a new and mad way of working wearing a visor and mask will be trying but we did have a laugh in the salon the other day when we were trying them on. Our friendly faces and chat is still underneath. Weve booked time in a slot for client and cleaning so hopefully there will be no waiting outside but if the stylist isnt ready a short wait outside or in your car maybe required as no waiting area at the moment. Please keep belongings to a minimal coat bag etc and we wont for the time being be offering drinks and magazines so please feel free to bring your own. Also can all ladies having a colour that is applied to dry hair please wash and dry your hair at home before arrival. Cut and blow will obviously be washed first by us. No dry cuts at the moment but if you do require just a cut it will be washed first but a blow dry is not a necessity. Lots of dos and don'ts which hopefully will return to a normal salon life soon but until then please be patient with us. We look forward to returning to the salon and seeing you all soon love from
