I’m not the best hairdresser out there… and I’ve never claimed to be. ❤️

But 26 years ago, I started my apprenticeship, and there are things I was taught back then that I’ve never forgotten.

💛 Customer care. 💛

Take their coat.
Offer them a drink. ☕️
Listen to what they actually want.
Suggest ideas when they’re unsure.
Remember their children’s names.
Ask how their daughter’s graduation went.
Remember their son’s big birthday.
Notice when something in their life has changed.

Because for me, being a hairdresser has never just been about the hair.

Over 26 years, I’ve shared laughs, tears, celebrations, heartbreak, exciting news, difficult times and everything in between with my clients. ✨

Some clients have stayed for years.
Some have moved on.
Some have come back again.
And some have simply been part of my journey for a little while.

But every single client has taught me something, helped me grow and shaped the hairdresser — and the person — I am today. 💗

I may not be the best hairdresser in the world…

But I genuinely care about the people who sit in my chair. ❤️

And I think sometimes, that’s what makes a good hairdresser.

It’s not just about leaving with great hair.

It’s about leaving feeling listened to, cared for, valued… and hopefully having had a bloody good laugh along the way. 😂❤️
