Sacred Dreads by Kimmy

Another new dread head today 🤓 he came to me with an idea of a lower mullet dread pony, keeping the short hair on top and a shave underneath. I added a blend of black & silver extensions to create the perfect locs for him. He’s off to the barbers now to have his cut and I’m looking forward to seeing it all come together

… and just like that a brand new dread head was born 💕 full head of new crochet dreads with extensions. I absolutely love the colour blend 🧝🏼‍♀️

Out of curiosity, I usually make all my dread sets as custom orders. Who would be interested in seeing what sets I might offer if I start freely creating? 🤓🫶🏻 I’d like a chance to see where my mind takes me x

Hello everyone 👋 I’m back from surgery & home safe and sound. I’m actually recovering quite well, just rather tired.
I’ve only got limited spaces now for October so please book in asap if you need maintenance or installs. I have only got 2-3 spaces max for new synthetic sets or full head of natural dreads. Message for details.

Olwen’s journey 🍂
It’s been around a year now since Olwen first came to me to talk about what she wanted her dread journey to look like.

We used hair extensions, some of which were actually made using her partner’s beautiful long silver hair, blended through with the black — which made this set so personal and special.

Over time, these dreads have matured beautifully. They’re really starting to develop their own character now, with different shapes, textures and little imperfections that make them completely unique.

I love watching my clients’ dreads change and mature through the seasons. Every time we meet, we shed a little of the old, make space for new growth, and watch the journey continue. 🍂
