Here are some frequently asked questions by ladies thinking of having intimate waxing:
- Will it hurt? The hot wax does not stick to skin- it sticks to hairs only therefore reducing discomfort
- What position will I have to get into? Your bottom area is waxed with you on your side in the fetal position and then you will be asked to lay on your back in the same position as you would when having a smear test
- How long does my hair need to be? Longer than a grain of rice
- How often should I have intimate waxing done?
For most women 4-6 weekly is adequate but will depend on individuals
- Can I have it done if I have piles? Of course, as mentioned before the wax will only stick to hairs
- Can I have it done whilst on a period? Yep, you will be asked to wear a tampon and then remove just before treatment
