I donāt share much about my health so today Iāve decided to be brave.
November 2023 changed my life dramatically. I was diagnosed with Chairi Malformation with an 8mm descent.
This means part of my brain has pushed its way into my brain stem. This has caused numerous issues for me but I try to live as normal a life as possible!
Itās the fatigue that can stop me in my tracks at times, and Iāve had a constant headache ever since 3 years of varying degrees of severity but itās always there! In addition tinnitus 24/7 for 3 years has cocked up my ability to hear in that ear! And thatās just the beginning!
But we roll, all my lower back issues can also be attributed to it, is it hard f**k yes! Does it stop me sometimes BUT Iāll always say Iām fine because invisible illnesses are sometimes too much effort to explain.
Especially when people try to compare it with someone else they know who have the same condition but less symptoms!!!
So there now you know a smile on the outside can hide many things much love # # #

Self respect and self preservation is something we were all taught to ignore.
We are conditioned to prioritise everyone around us WHY?
Not everyone deserves a version of you they can take the p**s out of!
Itās taken some time but removing myself from situations where I know people are either being disrespectful or two faced is the utmost in self care!!!
I believe in the fact that everyone gets a slightly different version of us, thereās people think Iām a bitch, sound I probably was, other people will say Iām sound as f**k!!
I mirror energy now, so instead of sacrificing my peace for people who never had any intention of looking out for me!
I quietly move along, no drama, no anger, no hate just my peace knowing I deserve better!!
I see more than people think and I listen more than I react.
The goal though is always respecting the fact I deserve peace and happiness too!
