Before you reach for your EFile, don’t skip this step 👀

Properly preparing the cuticle pocket is an important part of safe EFile prep to avoid any damage to the natural nail. Using an orangewood stick before going in with a flame bit allows the cuticle pocket to be opened correctly without putting unnecessary pressure on the nail.

Using short gentle movements, carefully separate the cuticle from the nail plate and evenly lift the free edge of the non living tissue. The goal isn’t to push deeper or apply more pressure, it’s about creating a space to allow your EFile bit to guide through smoothly.

Once you’ve done all of your cuticle prep, don’t forget those final finishing touches that make all of the difference - Becci calls this ‘The Flawless Filter’!

Top tips for the perfect french tip 🤍

We all want that perfect French…but getting those crisp, clean lines doesn’t always have to be a struggle! Here are a few things that can make all the difference 👇

🤍 Use the right brush - A good liner brush is a must! We love our MUSE 11mm Liner Brush because it’s great quality and the perfect length for creating those precise French lines
🤍 Choose a highly pigmented nail art gel - The more pigmented your white, the easier it is to get that crisp, opaque finish without having to go over your lines again and again
🤍 Mattify your base first - Don’t try to paint your French over a super shiny or sticky surface! Mattifying your base gives you a smoother surface to work on and helps prevent your gel from moving or blurring

Most importantly take your time and give yourself lots of practice! Build your French gradually and let the brush do the work for you 🫶Save this for the next time 👀
