This has been years in the making…

I’ve always had a passion for skincare, I’ve followed a consistent routine since I was 16 (and yes, always took my makeup off, no matter what!).

Around 9 years ago, while working as a midwife, I was introduced by my sister Amy Caton to a natural skincare brand, Tropic, and that’s when my journey really evolved. I started looking beyond the surface, into ingredients, their effects on the body, and the impact they can have on our hormones.

This became even more important through my own working experiences of pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility, where hormone changes are at their most significant, and skin can shift dramatically.

Alongside my clinical work, I trained as a Facialist, which deepened my understanding of skin, conditions and ingredients. I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through ongoing education and research, including:

• Pregnancy and postpartum skin
• Baby skin and barrier protection
• Puberty and skin physiology within midwifery

What I’ve learned is, skin is never just skin. It reflects what’s happening internally, and hormones play a huge role in that.

After a little time away, I’m returning with a focus that’s been years in the making.

As a Specialist Midwife & Skin Expert, I’ve spent 14+ years supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I’ve seen first-hand how hormones, life changes, and recovery can affect your skin.

I’m combining my midwifery knowledge with my skincare expertise to guide women through pregnancy, postpartum, and baby skin care, helping you make safe, evidence-led, hormone-conscious choices.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing tips, routines, and guidance to help you feel confident in your skin during one of life’s most intense and transformative stages.
