Being a beginner lash tech is literally a rollercoaster 🎢 🥲

I mean these are only a few of many 💭

But you always have to remember, we were all a beginner at some point. It doesn’t always stay like that 🤎

As I sit here in our new (and overgrown) garden with my baby girl whilst my partner rips out the entire house lol, I have thought about the last few months and how they have changed me in ways I didn’t expect 🤍

Before becoming a mum, success looked different. It was about working longer hours, chasing the next goal, growing my businesses and always thinking about what came next.

Now, when I look at this little girl, everything feels different.

She’s reminded me that time is precious. That success isn’t just about how much you earn or how busy your diary is. It’s about making a difference in the time you have.

Lashing will always be a huge part of who I am. This industry has given me so much over the last eight years, and I’ll always be grateful for it.

But becoming a mum has made me realise something.

I don’t just want to create incredible lash artists.

I want to help change the standard of education in our industry.

Because the truth is, I don’t think beginners should leave a course feeling lost, overwhelmed or wondering what to do next.

Education shouldn’t stop when you receive a certificate.

It should give you confidence.
It should give you support.
It should give you understanding.
It should leave you feeling excited about your future, not scared of it.

Our industry doesn’t just need more products, more trends or more things that promise to make life easier.

It needs stronger education, ongoing support and educators who genuinely care about the people they’re teaching long after the course has finished.

That’s the educator I want to be.

If someone chooses to learn with me, I want them to know they’ll never be left to figure it all out alone.

Because I know what it’s like to feel lost.

And if I can help someone build not only their skills, but their confidence and belief in themselves, then that’s a legacy I’m proud to leave.

Maybe becoming a mum changed my priorities.

Or maybe it just made me realise what they’ve always been.

I don’t just want to build businesses and make money.

I want to help build people.

And I hope one day, when my daughter is old enough to understand what I do, she’ll be proud of that too. 🤎
