Oor Moss. Settled in nicely now to our family routine, after a huge paradigm shift for him. He didnae make it as a sheep dog, but as always in life, when one door closes another door opens. And we’re very lucky, that door is ours. Welcome Moss.

Taz the Puggle. Cross between a Pug and a Beagle. Small in stature, big in personality. Thats what was in my mind while drawing him. Now gifted and hanging in America. An early 2022 drawing.

RIP my own dog Tilly. Lost her 10 weeks ago when I was on holiday. Had her for 11 years from Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre. A huge light in our life’s, the memory of which can never be extinguished. Tilly used to draw with me, and sometimes stop me drawing by nudging my hand away from the paper when i had spent too long drawing another dog and it was now Tilly time. Difficult to get back to it for me so having a break at the moment but will pick up the pencils again when I’m ready. Glad I got to draw her when she was still alive.
