Full head of teased slices still for an easy grow out but that grow out line is gone 😍
No lowlights used!!

So the steps i did for this lovely look was full head teased balayage and tipouts

Then washed out and was time for the dark root, i placed my level 4 root on, left that on to do its magic as her natural is about a base of a 7 so really need that to drop first before adding the end colour.

Once ready i then melted it into the creative purple with a drop of red to avoid a fast fade and to give the beautiful blend…

Washed off and then to make it pop even more we then put the electric purple over the whole head to give the dark root that edge too! It was alot of steps but oh is it pretty 😍

A big chop and a brighten up!!

Advice for all my natural dark base clients be prepared for warmth when it comes to lifting.

Also always look for inspo pictures that match your natural colour.

Then before your appointment really dose your hair with alot of nourishment because a level 4 natural base will be getting pushed 5 levels to reach atleast a level 9 blonde, whereas lighter natural colours only a couple.

So to lift darker bases you have to leave it on for longer, use a stronger peroxide and potentially finer sections aswell so it will get pushed harder, so aftercare is very important x

Also breaking through darker bases you do have to go through the red and orange stages before reaching yellow which is then the ideal base for a nice creamy blonde, ashy is much harder to achieve on darker natural roots.

i do recommend a nice creamy bright blonde, it won’t fade too quick, its easy to maintain and all around better for hair health x
