Teaching anatomy and mechanism for injectors already in practice — the reasoning underneath the technique, taught until it makes sense.
That horizontal line straight across the top of the nose isn't a bunny line – it's procerus pulling down.
Bunny lines fan diagonally down the sides of the nose across nasalis. A horizontal procerus line sits higher, across the radix – the root of the nose, where it dips between the eyes.
Skin creases at right angles to the way a muscle pulls. Procerus fibres run vertically up into the skin between the brows, so when it contracts it folds that skin horizontally across the radix. Treat it with your bunny line points and the line stays exactly where it is (and your client is back asking why!).
It is only present in some people, because procerus varies a LOT in size, and some people recruit it more when they frown or squint. If it's still there at rest, relaxing procerus will soften it but may not erase it completely, so tell your client that before you treat.

Please note: this result was achieved over multiple sessions and took around 10mls of HA filler in total.
Most of us in aesthetics work on our own (one treatment room, one person, and nobody next door to say "ooh, that's nice" at the end of the day), so the injectors you meet online are about as close to colleagues as you're going to get.
Which is why I'll never understand leaving nasty comments on each other's posts to try and knock the competition down a peg. You can do that, or you can tell someone when they've done something really well.
A compliment is how a lot of those online friendships start — and those are the people who pass you a client they can't fit in, or put your name forward when someone asks who's good in your area. The nasty comment doesn't take a single client off anyone; mostly it just leaves you scrolling on your own, feeling worse than before you typed it.

The night before a treatment is when a lot of injectors feel it most. They lie awake going over everything that could go wrong, usually because their training showed them where to inject without ever really explaining why — which is a gap in their training, not in them.
Once you understand the anatomy underneath (how each muscle pulls, how deep it sits, why it behaves differently from one face to the next), you're working from reasoning rather than hoping a pattern suits the face in front of you.

Tear trough filler is amazing — for the right anatomy.
The tear trough is the groove running down and out from the inner corner of the eye, and it's there because of a ligament. The tear trough ligament tethers the skin to the bone at the orbital rim. As we age, we lose volume from the deep fat pads under the eye and the bone itself resorbs, so the tissue around it sinks while that tethered line stays put. That's the groove you're looking at.
Filler placed deep, on the bone underneath the orbicularis oculi (the ring muscle around the eye), replaces the lost volume and supports the tissue just below the ligament, so the step between the lower lid and the cheek softens.
What it can't fix is a groove that isn't caused by volume loss. If the shadow is coming from orbital fat pushing forward above the ligament (eye bags), filler can make the bag look MORE obvious, not less. If there's puffiness or fluid (festoons, malar oedema), hyaluronic acid attracts water and can make it worse. And if the darkness is pigmentation, or thin skin showing the vessels underneath, there's nothing there for filler to lift.
This beautiful lady was a great candidate, as she had a true volume deficit compared to the cheek, and great quality skin with the thickness to ensure no Tyndall effect was caused

I can have all my treatments done, a full face of makeup, and my best outfit, but an evening out out is never complete without smelling amazing.
These are my absolute favourite perfumes in the whole world! Gloria by Cacharel and Bacarat Rouge 540.
I was so disappointed when they discontinued Gloria. I’ve paid hundreds for half used bottles of it from eBay sellers for years afterwards. I still have some saved - and it’s not been sold in shops for 20 years!
Very glad I came across Bacarat rouge because the chances of finding more Gloria were getting slim

I absolutely love days like this.
This was a refresher day. Rachael is already a fabulous injector (very light-handed and gentle, and her work is amazing), and she wanted a fresh set of eyes on her techniques while building on the skills she already has. We covered so much and got really deep into some topics, and the time flew by. All the models' results were perfect.
We got on like a house on fire. When I get home after a day like that, I don't feel like I've been at work, I feel like I've been with friends all day.
She also gave me the loveliest gift afterwards (a bottle of bubbly and some chocolate — she clearly knows me well 😂). It absolutely means the world and makes me so happy 🤍
