😷 FACE MASKS 😷
Despite the government announcement that all COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted from Monday 19th July, we have been informed by our regulator that we shall continue to be required to work with the same infection prevention control measures that we have had in place for the past year.
This includes the wearing of masks by staff and patients, social distancing within the clinic, allowing fallow time between patients, thoroughly sanitising between patients and spacing appointment times to avoid contact between patients in the clinic.
We shall continue to take temperatures on arrival and ask patients to sanitise their hands on entry. Staff will continue to test twice weekly.
Whilst we appreciate that some of our patients find these measures onerous, they are necessary to keep our staff and all of our patients as safe as possible. We have a legal obligation to do this so please understand and co-operate with us to enable us to offer this reassurance to everyone.
We look forward to being able to offer our high standards of care to our patients despite the current circumstances.
COVID-19 Notice: The clinic will REMAIN OPEN during the national lockdown which begins on Thursday 5th November 2020. Healthcare services such as Osteopathy are permitted to remain open to provide medical services to the public and members of the public are permitted to leave their homes in order to attend appointments for medical reasons such as treatment by an Osteopath. The clinic is operating with a Covid-secure policy, full details of which can be found on our website.

We have taken the decision to close our clinic today. We believe that it is the right thing to do to protect our patients, their families, our staff and the wider community. We understand that many of our patients are in acute pain and desperate for treatment but we must encourage you to follow the Government advice to stay at home, to limit travel to essential journeys only and to practise social distancing. We feel we are doing our part to prevent the spread of coronavirus by closing our doors. However, we will continue to offer advice, support and guidance to anyone who needs it. Please call us on 01775 766966, email us on [email protected] or message us via social media and we will do our best to help you.

Number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and risk in the UK
We currently remain open for business during the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
During this time we have increased our already stringent hygiene and sanitisation measures within the clinic to minimise the risk of infection. We have alcohol-based hand gel in the reception area and would encourage you to use this whilst our stocks last or to wash your hands thoroughly in our cloackroom before you enter the waiting room.
If you have concerns about attending for treatment please discuss these with us. We will do our best to reassure you and address your concerns in a positive and co-operative way.
If you or any of your household are showing signs of Covid-19 or are in a vulnerable group or have been advised by 111 or your doctor to self-isolate, please do not attend the clinic and follow the advice given by Public Health England on the Governement website www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public. Please advise us if you have a forthcoming appointment and are unable to attend.
If you arrive at our clinic and are showing signs of illness we may not be able to treat you and may ask you to leave. This will only be done to protect our staff and other patients using our clinic and we would ask you to understand our decision in the light of the current crisis.
If you are unable to attend the clinic and require any advice in respect of your musculo-skeletal symptoms please contact us by calling the clinic on 01775 766966 or by replying to this email and we will do our best to assist you.
We will keep the clinic open for as long as we are able to but we will monitor and follow Government advice and continue to assess the risk to our patients and staff.
Thank you for your understanding at this very difficult time for everyone.
