In fact, the style was so revolutionary that it even sparked protests from those who thought it was scandalous.

Here’s another fun fact: In the 1960s, the 🐝“Beehive” hairstyle became iconic, popularized by stars like Amy Winehouse and Brigitte Bardot.

The style was created by backcombing the hair and then rolling and stacking it to form a beehive shape.

👨‍🎤It took a lot of hairspray and hours to perfect! Interestingly, the style was inspired by the elaborate hairdos of the 1950s but became a symbol of rebellion and the counterculture movement as it was embraced by younger generations during the ’60s.
