I chose to do my own bridal makeup 🤍

And honestly .. Not because I didn’t trust other makeup artists, but because after having my own trial, I realised the look I was being given just didn’t feel like me.

I felt like I was being fitted into a trend rather than having the makeup designed around my face.

And that experience really shaped the way I approach makeup now.

I don’t believe bridal makeup should be a one-size-fits-all look. Your features, your skin, your colouring and the way you naturally wear makeup should all have a part in creating the final look.

For me, it was about enhancing what was already there rather than changing myself into someone else.

And honestly? Looking back at my wedding photos, I’m so glad I trusted my instinct. 🤍

That’s exactly the feeling I want my own brides to have when they look back at their wedding day.

I still look like me, just the most polished version of me. 🤍
