The importance of a patch test!!

This reaction happened within 24 hours of applying tint, and it’s the exact reason I won’t carry out any treatment without one.

My client rubbed the area because it felt hot and itchy, which is why the tint spread. These treatments go on your face, and you can imagine how serious it would be if this happened anywhere near the eyes.

My client had no idea she was allergic to tint. It’s more common than you think. Even if someone else has patch tested you before, you’ll still need one with me. Every salon uses different products, so you never really know how your skin will react.

You won’t need another new patch test with me unless something in your medical history changes or you haven’t had the treatment for more than six months.

No patch test means no treatment. It’s there to keep you safe.
