**UPDATE**
Sorry it’s been exceptionally quiet on here with candle content throughout the last few months. Some of you may know that my husband and I took over a wholesale food business last year, which is our primary business and priority; therefore, has had to take somewhat of a backseat.
In addition we’ve had other things going on behind the scenes in early August, plus a family holiday (or two).
My plan was to get cracking again on the candle front at the start of September in preparation for Candle season.
Sadly over the weekend one of our valued employees was taken Ill, which means I will pretty much be working full time in our food business for the foreseeable.
There will be stock available online and a limited amount of seasonal products will be released over the next month. I am unlikely to have time to make anything new to replace once products sell out. I will be cancelling all upcoming markets and commitments.
I am hoping this will be a temporary arrangement, but our family, the health of our staff and our main business must come first.

Absent Tribe - Echoes of Spode by
We were given the honour of making these unique one off beakers made by Keith Brymer Jones into beautiful candles!
We worked in collaboration with for which Keith is the Patron.
Each beaker has been handmade by Keith in his studio.
'Absent Tribe' is dedicated to the factory workers of the world famous Spode Works, Stoke on Trent.
Each beaker is numbered to represent each man, woman and child working there during the height of the factories production. There were 1100 made in total, of which a very small amount were made available to us.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a unique one off piece, representing the heritage of the pottery industry of Stoke on Trent.

The yard is fully covered by a fab stretch canopy, so it really doesn’t matter what the weather is doing 🌧️
We will be amongst other Staffordshire artisans, crafters and creative businesses ♥️

We have been working hard on this amazing collaboration with to create their own Gin & Tonic inspired candle.
It is based on the botanics used to create the gin, and has a refreshing citrus scent. It has warming notes of Juniper berries, lime, pine, moss, amber and cedar wood.
Not only does it smell incredible, it looks fabulous in its 30cl grey engraved vessel by .works with copper lid.

You will also find unscented versions on each of the tables, in their stunning new bar they look incredible when lit (see the last photo) 📸
It has been an absolute pleasure working with these guys and we are very much looking forward to joining you for gin cocktails soon🍸

I’ve poured the very last of this beautiful scent ‘Citron’, and am still to find a suitable replacement. So if this is a favourite, grab one whilst you can as the fragrance oil is no longer available, so it won’t be returning 😢
I’m absolutely gutted about this, as this was the first candle I ever made for our wedding 12yrs ago, so is very special 🍋
