Just finished this one properly - old body, brand new life:💪
✅ 11-year-old body fully straightened & all steel work repaired.
✅ Complete full repaint - looks as good as the day it was built.
✅ Brand new rear panel fitted.
✅ All new lights.
✅ Fitted straight onto a 23 plate Ford Transit Brand new PTO & pump system installed.
✅ New root & rear beacons.
✅ Checker plate sanded right back, painted & lacquered - proper finish, not just a quick tidy.
✅ Colour coded bumper for a fresh look.

🚨 APPRENTICE WANTED 🚨
SMurph Engineering Ltd is looking for a motivated 16-year-old school leaver to join our team as an Apprentice Commercial Vehicle Body Builder.
Over the last 6 years we’ve trained 4 apprentices, with 3 of them still working with us today. We’re now looking for the next young person who wants to learn a trade and build a long-term career.
This isn’t a job where you’ll be making tea and sweeping floors all day. You’ll be hands-on from the start, learning a huge range of skills including:
✅ Hydraulic fitting
✅ Welding & fabrication
✅ Vehicle mechanics
✅ Automotive electrics
✅ Commercial vehicle body building
✅ Fault finding & repairs
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers building and repairing specialist commercial vehicles and equipment used across the UK.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Wants to learn and work hard
• Is reliable and punctual
• Has a good attitude and can take instruction
• Isn’t afraid to get stuck in
• Can handle a bit of workshop banter and be part of the team
No experience is required – just enthusiasm, common sense and a willingness to learn.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain qualifications, learn multiple trades and build a career in a growing engineering company.

From a battered old skip body and tired cab to this — a full custom rebuild featuring our own brand-new chain lift body and our latest improved sheeting system. Fresh paint, crisp hydraulics, new lights, and that proper showroom shine.
With nearly 300 of these bodies built by our team, we’ve perfected the formula: strong, reliable, great to use, and built to last.
