Did you know microneedling isn’t just for the face?

These are stretch marks on the abdomen following a course of microneedling, and this is a good example of what we’re actually trying to achieve: improvement, not perfection.

Stretch marks are essentially changes within the dermal structure of the skin. Microneedling creates controlled micro-injury, triggering the normal wound-healing response and stimulating dermal remodelling, including collagen production. Clinical studies have shown improvements in the appearance and texture of stretch marks following treatment

So for areas such as the abdomen or upper arms, my aim is realistic:

• better skin quality
• smoother-looking texture
• less visible stretch marks
• gradual improvement over time

Not perfectly smooth, filtered skin. Just healthier-looking skin, supported by treatments that work with its biology.

And as always, whether microneedling is appropriate depends on the skin, the concern and what we're realistically able to achieve.

I’m 42 and I have absolutely no interest in trying to look 22 🤍

I’m Tammy, the owner of NEXT GEN SKIN - a private, home-based skin clinic in Blythe Bridge.

I created the clinic for women who want to take genuinely good care of their skin but may feel overwhelmed by treatments, skincare products or conflicting advice online.
