A soft lami brow with a bold dark tint.

These hairs after lamination afe flexible and movesble so my client can brush them in her desired position. My clients likes her tint dark so I use a combination of dark brown and black.

This is a very different kind of post for me, its a real personal one and one I want to share with you.

This weekend is a very difficult weekend for me and my family.

Some of my clients may know this already but its not something I've been talking about in recent years, so lots of you may not know this.

I have two older brothers who I love very much, but sadly they both passed away. My oldest brother David who passed away in 2016, then my brother Jamie who we lost in 2018.

Today marks 10 years since David's passing and the truth is I have been dreading this day for so long! I can not believe it has been 10 whole years since I saw my big brother. David was a fun personality, full of life and was such a kind person, I really miss him so much.

Yesterday also was Jamie's 36th birthday. Jamie took his big brother role very seriously and always felt he needed to look out for me and keep me safe 😆.

They were both in to their fitness so much and was at the boxing club and gym on a daily basis. David always said he would definitely indulge in the odd bit of botox when he was older because his self care was key and he didnt want to get wrinkles 😆.

Grief is a real sad and hard thing and like I said I've really dreaded this day for a really long time. I cant believe its been 10 and 8 years since I saw them both, and since then I have grown so much and become a parent myself which I wish they were able to see.

Any way I wanted to share this with you because my brothers story is my story and I wanted to talk about them with you today in honor of remembering them 💛🧡

David and Jamie Abberley, my big brothers who I love and miss every single day.

Thank you for your love and support. # # #

✨️✨️ Now offering Korean Lash Lift ✨️✨️

I am super excited to share that you can now book a Korean Lash Lift with me.

The Korean technique has been talked about so much on social media for the past few months, but before training in a new treatment straight away I wanted to do my own research and spend time learning about the science behind the products and spend time looking at the differences between the many many beauty brands there are to choose from.

After lots of research I chose my brand and I am absolutely inlove with this technique and product system.

Overall the key difference is the product is different. Overall it is doing the same job as the brand I have used for 8+ years, but it softens the hair and breaks down the hair bonds at a slower rate, making it a gentler and milder product to work with on the lashes.

Trust me when I say that if you come and see me for lash lifts, you are going to want to try this one!

A new patch test will need to be carried out as these are different products so pop me a message if you have any questions. Xx

My client here booked HD Brows and its such a great choice for her.

I kept them thick, trimmed them slightly at the front but not to much so they are left soft and fluffy.

In this photo you can see a small layer of powder applied to the skin.

This is done prior to waxing so it can act as a second skin, adding another layer of protection for your skin.

Doing this minimises redness and the chance of grazing.

Remember if you have ever grazed its really important that you share that information witj your brow tech, whether thats myself or someone else.

Grazing (also known as skin lifting) can happen for a few different reasons, but 9/10 times it will be because of an active ingredients used in skin care products.

Sharing this feedback with your tech will allow her to advise you what to do in these cases and to know how to makr adjustments to your future appointments to avoid the skin grazing again.

Its National Lash Day

I'm sure we can all appreciate how good our self care and beauty routines make us feel, and treating ourselves to beautiful lashes I feel plays a part in that.

Enjoy some of these close up images of some great lash lifts I've done for my clients.
