The most wholesome day yesterday at Three Cliffs Bay with these two πŸ’œ it’s been the most challenging year but time really flies and now they’re the best of friends (sometimes πŸ€ͺ)

Mothers Day πŸ’ - I had time to myself, I had time with my kids, I had time with my mum and I had time with my hands in the mud πŸ’• I also had time wrangling trousers onto my toddler… by any means πŸ€ͺ

When I say positively change my body.. it’s more than skin deep. It’s recovering from diastasis, prolapse, or from birth trauma. It’s the mental health associated with not feeling at home with your body πŸ’•
β€’
That’s why the first point here in coming home to your body is defining what you want πŸ™ŒπŸ»

I wanted to be able to put Austin to bed. I never thought I’d be able to lift him into his cot ever again. 9m and he fell on a road sign injuring his finger. I carried his bike, my bike, 2 helmets AND him 400m back home. I am strong. I am a mum. You’re a mum-you are too πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’•

Having listened to discussion last night on for and I wanted to remind you to focus on you (not on what social media/society tells you) ✌️🀱🀰

Get yourself friends who will follow you into the 5C water at at 7pm during a full moon πŸŒ•

β€œCams going first, it was her idea” πŸ€ͺπŸ’¦

I got in for just over 4mins and loved it. Couldn’t feel my fingers when I got out but pretty chuffed helped us look like we were at a Full Moon Party in Thailand with all the glow sticks πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡

Stop putting pressure on yourself to train everyday. You may have been able to when you were younger. When you didn’t have kids. When you didn’t have that job. When responsibilities weren’t so high.
‒
You’re comparing yourself - to what and who you used to be. Or what you *think* you -SHOULD- be doing.
‒
Let me tell you that I’ve seen the largest transformations in clients when they begin to do LESS πŸ’œβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹
‒
Less pressure, less stress, less effort.
More rest, more dignity, more results.
‒
Do what you can, not what you think you need to do. And most of all enjoy it 🌟

I am putting a pause on the in-person Women’s Wellness Summit this year. I truly believe in the value of this summit and I wanted so much for the event to run. I’ve taken a hard look at where I’m spending my time in my business and life at the moment. I’ve found it all too easy to try and replicate what I would do pre kids; especially pre two-kids but it’s just not possible. I need to take time in my business to create profit AND I need to take time for myself and my own wellbeing.
‒
The hours and expense that go into this Summit behind the scenes is hard to quantify. But I do know it’s huge. I’ve tried my hardest over the last month especially contacting businesses, clients current and old, organising social media, live discussions and generally corralling efforts for the summit.
‒
I don’t make this decision lightly, I don’t think I’ve ever cancelled a business event before. But some things are more important than pushing on through and driving myself beyond what is reasonable. The people in this stunning image are just that. (thanks )

As most of you are mums I’m sure you can understand the obstacles that I’m coming up against, especially organising an event of scale within the first year of Lena’s life. It’s been really hard. Now I’m concentrating on me, on my family and what we need to be safe ❀️

When I was recovering from birth for the second time I found time a major issue.
The next biggest issue was my energy!! I knew what I needed to do but finding those moments to connect amongst the craziness of new motherhood. Wow.. that was hard.
β€’
I remember vividly everyone else being asleep in the house; Austin was in bed at 7, Tom would go at 9, Lena would drift into her biggest sleep at 1130. I’d do the β€˜hug and roll’ away from her as she slept and take ten minutes right then to myself.
In the morning she’d wake at 4/5 and once she’d fed and fallen into a ilk coma again I’d take the next bit of time to myself before everyone else woke up… ten minutes here and there… they add up. It sometimes felt I’ve I was doing nothing for me.
β€’
In comparison to what I was giving out it was low. But give to myself I did. In ten minute segments. That’s why now I include 3x10min videos every week with my online Core and Pelvic floor program. Integrated Core Restoration gives not just workouts but also the ability to fit it in around life as a new mum.
β€’
By the end of the course you have 18 ten minute videos in your back pocket for life. They’ll never expire and you always be able to return to them when you want a refresher, or a one t to yourself πŸ’•
β€’
Next course starts w/c 20/02

The first time I put Ozzy in the sandpit he ended up at A&E with a temperature of 41.7 πŸ₯΅
Put Lena in here and she chowed down on a handful of sand and is absolutely fine 😝
She is little and mighty and fierce πŸ”₯ they are both my motivation.
Whilst I plug on doing the stuff that’s got to be done I remind myself that I’m doing it for them. It’s not always glamorous, sometimes being self employed feels wondrous. Other times I’m feel like I’m stuck canoeing through treacle.
The times being present with them make it all worth it πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ’•
