As a member of ACPIN, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology, It is my responsibility to remain up to date with all the recent guidelines and evidence based practice relating to neurological conditions. My role is to work collaboratively with clients, to decide realistic goals and support them to achieve these, using the most up to date evidence based practice.

So a little about me… Hi there I’m Chad. I’m a stroke and neurological specialist physiotherapist. I have been working in both NHS and private sectors for nearly 10 years. I have had the privilege of working with other experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists, wheelchair therapists, rehab consultants and speech and language therapists. My career so far has given me opportunity of working with a wide range of neurological conditions. I am a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and will soon be commencing my MSc in Neurological Rehabilitation in Plymouth University.

My skills include:
- Full neurological assessment
- 24 postural assessment and management
- Hydrotherapy (member of the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists)
- Lower limb FES (functional electrical stimulation)
- Spasticity management
- Bobath trained
- Vestibular/ balance rehabilitation
- Long term condition management
