🧪 In the Lab: Perfecting My New Barrier Balm Recipe ✨

Behind the scenes, I am busy experimenting with a brand new formula, and I am so excited about how it is coming together! Most standard moisturizing creams contain up to 80% water, which quickly evaporates and can leave dry skin feeling stripped. I am working on a completely different approach: a rich, waterless concentrate made with 0% water and 100% active, plant-based lipids to deeply nourish and rescue dry, weather-worn skin. I am currently testing a recipe powered by soothing Colloidal Oatmeal and premium Oat Ceramides to reinforce the skin’s natural moisture barrier. By blending these into a luxurious base of Olive Squalane and wild-harvested Berry Wax, my goal is a 100% vegan formula that melts into a weightless, silky veil on contact. I am aiming for a smooth, non-greasy finish that absorbs quickly enough for comfortable daytime wear, rather than a heavy, sticky overnight salve. It is still in the testing phase as I tweak the recipe to perfection, but I can't wait to share the final result with you!
