We've had an amazing summer in Cornwall, we've been so lucky with the weather, I've felt like I live on holiday 😀 wellI suppose I do in a way!

✨️But now it's back to routine & we've a busy September in the diary...

✨️It's back to school for my son, I do miss having him at home, but I am glad for some routine for him again.

✨️I am officially back at school myself, re-starting my Hormonal Wellness Diploma after taking some time out with everything that has happened in the last 12 months.

✨️3 birthdays to celebrate.. Virgo season ♍️

✨️Basketball season starts 🏀 Let's go Cornwall Saracens 👏

✨️I am back to my special school nursing role where I support an amazing little girl with 1:1 care.

✨️Clinic is getting busier, new referrals & returning patients.

It was time for a change....

The name LUVAL was created using my great nanny Lulu & nanny Val's names & now I wanted to incorporate my son Aiziah somehow... so the new logo was created using a basketball material as the texture in the design 🤩🏀

I've been a lil quiet but I'm still here working, studying & building, its not easy when you're all on your own but I did it before & I'll do it again ✨️

I'll post the new clinic soon... which is a lil tribute to myself in all the decor..... 🪴🐆

Happy Nurse's Day 👩🏼‍⚕️

I have been a registered nurse for 16 years, to me nursing isnt just a job, its a vocation! Its enabled me to care for people, to make them feel safe, supported, championed for, listened to, held their hands as they have taken their last breath or comforted them through some bad news.

The last few years of my nursing career has been a bit different, in medical aesthetics I have given people confidence, been someone they confide in, they have trusted me with not only their face but to keep them safe & protect their health & wellbeing. It has been a privilege & I feel very honoured that people have chosen me! ✨️

Since losing Mr A 💔 & the job role that I moved both mine & ziahs whole lives down to Cornwall for, it has been the hardest time in possibly my whole life. I felt like I'd lost my purpose, my business & myself!

I took some time out to grieve & process everything that was happening but then it was time to pick myself up 💪🏼

Being a nurse, I was able to find myself a number of nursing roles to keep not only our heads above water but it gave me my purpose & my spark back. I've been working in cosmetic surgery, elderly care & school nursing, working full time whilst also working in the background to get my own clinic up & running.

Today feels like the right time to announce I finally have the keys, the flooring is down, sink installed & I'm here today tackling all of this furniture 💪🏼

I want to thank everyone who has supported me with words of encouragement & reminders of who I am & what I built by myself in Birmingham, so I can do it again down in Cornwall ✨️ My family, friends, new friends & businesses in Cornwall, those who have trusted me with their faces from Birmingham & all the new people who are trusting me in Cornwall 💉 Thank you 🫶
