A before and after that shows just how much colour can change a room.
We swapped the bright green for a deep blue, using it across the walls, joinery and radiator to give the space a much calmer, more pulled-together feel.
The original bed and world map stayed, while new storage, a dedicated desk area, layered textiles and a few playful details gave the room a completely new lease of life.
A space that can grow with him, without losing any of its personality.

When designing a child’s room I always try to imagine the dream bedroom that I would have loved to have when I was younger.
Something fun with surprises that would delight my friends at a sleepover.
Here, the tropical print has been used as a feature behind the bed, bringing colour, pattern and a playful feel to the room without overwhelming the space.
The natural tones in the wallpaper also tie in beautifully with the rattan hanging chair and timber bed, while the softer furnishings keep everything feeling balanced.
A fun space to enjoy!
This is where every project starts. Hours in front of a screen, building the room in my head and then making it real.
Every wall, every ceiling height, every corner thought through before a single thing is ordered.
Because the decisions made here are the ones that determine whether a room just looks good or actually feels right to live in.
Most people never see this part. But honestly it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my day 😊

This is where the planning makes all the difference. The colours, furniture, finishes and smaller details are considered in detail so we can see how everything will work as a whole before committing to a room scheme
Here, the yellow sofa and berry-toned chairs were part of the plan from the beginning, balanced with warm timber, softer walls and a few unexpected touches of green.
From the initial design to the finished room. It’s always lovely seeing the ideas on paper come to life.
