Because an appointment isn’t just an empty space in a diary.
Depending on what you’ve booked, we may have set aside an hour, two hours or even longer specifically for you. When an appointment disappears at the last minute, it can be really difficult to fill that time again.

That’s why we’re asking everyone to give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rearranging. Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee being charged.

We never want this to feel unfriendly. It’s simply about making the diary fair for the team and for the clients who are trying to get appointments too.

If you’ve spent approximately five years saying, “I want a fringe…but I know I’ll regret it”, autumn 2026 may finally have found your compromise.

The softer whisper fringe and curtain-style fringes are both having a moment.

JAPANESE HEAD SPA, WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY DOING TO YOUR SCALP?

We’re very good at buying products for the hair we can see, but the scalp underneath tends to get considerably less attention.
Think about everything that can end up there: natural oil, styling products, dry shampoo and general build-up between washes.

A Japanese Head Spa puts the focus back on the scalp with cleansing, water therapy, massage and conditioning as part of the overall experience.
And then there’s the massage, which quite frankly might be enough reason to book on its own.

If summer hair is usually about brightness, autumn 2026 seems to be doing the opposite.

Colours are getting richer, glossier and deeper, but without becoming flat.
One of the biggest examples is glossed espresso, a deep brunette that still has enough different tones running through it to catch the light rather than looking like one solid dark block.

Then there are shades like cherry mocha and blackcurrant brunette, where red, berry and copper tones sit against a darker brunette base.

And blondes aren’t disappearing either. They’re simply getting toastier, with softer roots and warmer, more lived-in tones rather than ultra-bright summer blonde.

A little appointment housekeeping from us at Infinity.

We completely understand that plans change. Children get ill, work runs late, things crop up and sometimes an appointment you booked weeks ago suddenly doesn’t work anymore.

All we ask is that, wherever possible, you give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will now be subject to a cancellation fee. When we’re given enough notice, we have a much better chance of offering that space to somebody else who is waiting to get booked in.

Somewhere along the way, we seem to have decided professional makeup should be reserved for brides.

We disagree.

You might have a wedding to attend, a birthday, graduation, awards night, family party, work event, a day at the races or simply one of those rare nights where everybody has actually managed to agree on a date and get out together.
Getting your makeup done means one less thing to think about.

And it definitely doesn’t mean having to walk out looking like somebody completely different.

Bring the outfit. Bring your inspiration pictures. Tell us what you normally wear and, equally importantly, tell us the things you absolutely don’t like.

Soft and glowy, polished and neutral or something a little more dramatic, event makeup should still feel like you when you look in the mirror.

September and autumn events have a habit of suddenly appearing in the diary, so if you already know you have somewhere to be, get the appointment in before you forget.
