A little change to make booking your appointments easier… 🤍✨

After 11 years of personally arranging every single appointment myself, I’ve finally decided to introduce online booking at Grace’s Garden Retreat! 🙌🏼
I’ll admit, this has been quite a hard decision for me to make.

I’ve always loved having that personal contact with you from the very beginning. So many of you have been coming to me for years, and I never want GGR to lose that personal feel that has always been so important to me. 🤍

But as life has become busier, I’ve realised that I’m not always able to respond to appointment messages as quickly or as often as I’d like.

So I wanted to give you the flexibility to see my availability and book your appointment whenever it’s convenient for you — whether that’s during the day, in the evening or whenever you suddenly remember you’re overdue some time for yourself! 😂💆🏼‍♀️

Before opening my diary online, I’ve tried my best to give my lovely regular clients first dibs on September appointments and work through the booking messages I already had. 🤍

And to my lovely regular ladies — don’t panic! 😂 Your favourites are still there. If you know exactly what you love, you can continue choosing from your favourite treatments under the Massage section as usual.

I asked my followers one simple question… 💭

“What makes you return to the same therapist?”

And reading their answers honestly reminded me why I’ve loved what I do for so many years. 🤍

Because when you work in this industry, it’s easy to focus on the treatment itself — the products, the techniques, the results…

But often, it’s the things that can’t be put on a treatment menu that people remember most. 🖤

How you make them feel. 🫶🏼

Feeling listened to. Feeling comfortable. Feeling cared for. Feeling like they can completely switch off for a little while. 💤

After more than 10 years in this industry, I’ve learnt that those little things can make the biggest difference.

And these comments are such a lovely reminder of just how much our work can mean to someone. 🤍

Over the last few months, there have also been lots of personal changes and experiences that have given me plenty of time to pause and reflect.

Taking a step back over the summer, spending precious time with my beautiful family and simply allowing myself some space to reset has reminded me just how important balance, time and headspace really are.

And taking that step back has given me more clarity than I’ve had in a long time.

It’s reignited a real passion for my business and given me a very clear sense of where I want to take it next.
I’m so excited for this next chapter. 🤍

For now, I’m just enjoying the clarity, the ideas and the feeling that something really good is coming. ♥️

Hi everyone 💛

Well... summer has well and truly arrived and, like many of you, I'm officially in full-on mum mode for the next few weeks! ☀️😂

The last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind with moving house, settling in and keeping up with everyday life, so social media has definitely taken a back seat.
But I just wanted to pop on and say hello because it's been a while. 🫶🏼

Thank you to everyone who's checked in on me, sent messages or continued to support my little business. It genuinely means such a lot. ❤️

One thing I've been reminded of recently is just how important it is to slow down every now and then. We're all so busy looking after everyone else that we often forget to look after ourselves too. ☕️🛁

Whether that's a massage, an hour with a book, a walk in the sunshine or simply sitting down with a cup of tea while it's still hot, you deserve those moments too.

Hope all my lovely ladies have a wonderful summer, I know lots of you are away yourselves or looking after the children or grandchildren! I can’t wait to see you all in September, I’m sure we will all be in need of some relaxation by then ☺️🥰

H E L L O everyone ♥️

As lots of my lovely clients know, we’ve been waiting to move house since August last year, it’s been a very long and stressful process and at times felt impossible but we have finally moved into our beautiful new home! 🙌🏼🥂

Saying goodbye to our old home was tough and the children have found it hard adjusting but we are slowly getting there, they’ve been amazing and I’m so proud of how they’ve handled it all. 🥰

My old treatment room was the most beautiful set up and I’ll miss it dearly, but we are now putting plans in place to create something even more special in our new home, in Cleckheaton. 🏡

I am hoping to create a temporary space to work from for my regular clients in the meantime and will update you all as soon as I’m able to re start my diary… 📔

For anyone who has gift vouchers, these will be extended by the amount of time I’m closed so that you have plenty of time to use them once I reopen fully. 💌

I have the best clients and you’ve all been so lovely and patient with me during this very awkward and unpredictable time. Thank you so much for your understanding. 🫶🏼
