Hey guys. Further to Sarah's tattoo removal pictures I thought I would answer a few frequently asked questions (I'll do one a day, so you don't get bored).
F.A.Q.s.....
Does it hurt?
Yes, yes it does. The often repeated phrase among laser techs is "it feels like an elastic band being pinged against your skin". I feel this is a bit misleading as that implies is a bit tingly. It's a bit tingly like whacking you funny bone is amusing. Getting a tattoo lasered hurts BUT it's a very fast process. For example, the bee in the pictures in the post below took between 5-10 minutes per session. We cooled and numbed it with an ice pack beforehand then soothed it with aloe vera after, then you need to leave the skin to fully repair after so you dont have another session for 6-8 weeks anyway. By which time you've forgotten about the pain and are focused on the amazing results.
Before you commit to a removal you need to come in for a spot test anyway, to make sure your tattoo is suitable and so you can experience the sensation for yourself. If you don't fancy it you can walk away.
